It Takes Two

Building on a solid foundation of sound principals and a dedication to excellence, reimagining the Media Bridge office suite was the logical next move for this progressive company.

The preexisting office space felt crowded and was not presenting an atmosphere akin to the next level persona embodied by the company and its employees. As with everything that this group has done, they displayed “guts” and complete “trust” in the evolution of the new space.

  • This once raw space was transformed into a fully realized vision, brimming with industrial. vibes and sought-after market culture. Achieved by merging the historic origins that once inhabited this site, with the ambiance of the bustling new buildings around it. Aside from being a perfect fit for the company's brand ideals, it was the perfect choice for inspiring its occupants to new heights. "I knew it could be epic" However, this did not come without its own unique set of challenges. The design was nonconforming to the rest of the tenant spaces and it took some doing to convince the building owners and partners to allow the team to evolve their brand ideas while respecting the historic architecture. The ceilings and walls were made of brick and the thought of dry walling over or covering up this architectural element was difficult to get approved. The structure originally played carriage house to this corner of the city, and in its current state the floors were found to be 6" off level, which in turn presented added challenges for the design team. The company's mission is to help brands gain market share and be different. TO this end we designed with that in mind. Taking care to imprint the DNA of the brand in every space. From the moment you cross the threshold you can see and feel the power of both the space and ultimately its team of skilled individuals.
  • The teams "Bulldog" wanted this space to inspire creation, teamwork, comfort, and an initiative for growth. With this in mind, many spaces were created to host different types of collaboration for both small and large group meetings. The conference suite was created in the center of the space, providing a central hub for the entirety of the office complex. Arriving visitors are greeted by a lounge area that immediately displays the company's transparency and welcoming vibe. In need of a room that could hold 14 people but be broken down to accommodate smaller groups, the conference tables were custom made and are able to be separated for various types of meetings. The shapes are subtle but are that of the "M" in MEDIA BRIDGE ADVERTISING. Built on the back of Radio Buying, it was important to emphasize this as a feature in the space. We made sure to include design elements that were relevant to the inception of the MBA brand while mixing it with components representative of the digital capabilities now moving the company forward. If you look closely, the fabric on the wall panels emulates the letter "M".
  • Adjacent to the conference room and lounge areas you will find the kitchen and several breakout spaces. True to the brand, the art of hospitality is represented in tandem with the "bullish" mindset complete with a full bar for entertaining clients with an inviting ambiance. The murals were custom designed and placed in the booth spaces that line the perimeter and double as breakout spaces. The workspaces positioned on the opposite side of the conference room, are complete with two additional breakout areas, providing team members with multiple options for a "change of scenery" throughout the workday. The companies brand colors were infused throughout the workspace area, which is open to the public view, creating a subtle "see-and-be -seen" vibe. Important to the Companies Founder was a main office that could be opened to the rest of the team, allowing for a flow of creative energy between these spaces. A lounge area was created outside of this space to allow for small meetings in an informal environment, with a small adjacent conference room to allow for the team to meet in privacy.
  • Driven by layered, dynamic, asymmetrical, and organically assembled composition; the restrooms are both an extension of the company’s brand and as well as an "eye-catching" inspiration for existing and potential clients. Custom pieces of furniture were utilized to create a tiered, earthy, yet contemporary look that pays homage to the original architectural aspects of the space while conveying the brands "edginess". It takes two...a strong vision and a well-executed plan.
