Located in the prestigious Whisper Rock community in North Scottsdale, this home was perfectly situated but struggled to sell due to its outdated interior. Originally built in 2009 by Platinum, the home’s features and floor plan no longer met the needs of modern living. Enter JAQUE—with a complete re-envisioning of the space that began with a dramatic double-height foyer, leading to a new open floor plan in the living room. The original terracotta tile flooring was replaced with light hardwood, walls and the fireplace were removed to create a bright and inviting living environment, designed to accommodate the modern family.
JAQUE carefully balanced the home’s architectural heritage while creating a sophisticated, functional living space. The custom kitchen now features sleek countertops, a large center island with counter seating, and the finest stainless steel appliances. The former family room is now the dining room, perfect for social gatherings and family meals.
The once casual dining room is now a perfect space for relaxation, offering views into the adjacent wine room. The master bedroom wing has been reimagined with a modern sensibility, complete with a cozy fireplace and doors that open to the rear yard. A lavishly appointed bathroom and spacious, custom closets elevate the master suite to new heights.
The rear yard maximizes Scottsdale’s magnificent climate with its room full of water features, an outdoor kitchen and dining area, and dramatic natural landscaping. The dining room has been transformed into a more formal sitting room, now separated from the kitchen by a wet bar and wine coolers.
The home’s entertaining potential is extended with a discreet social area to enjoy cocktails, complete with a wet bar and secret access to the garage. A staircase from the pool leads to a self-contained guest suite with a private balcony and breathtaking views.
BOTTOM LINE:
Once under-appreciated, this home has now been elevated to its full potential with JAQUE’s expertise. Designed for the modern way of living, it captures the essence of luxury, comfort, and sophistication—set against one of the country’s most beautiful locations.
