Labeling the restaurant “The Secret” added an air of mystique, perfectly aligning with JAQUE’s approach to creating spaces that feel both familiar and unexpected.
Design Highlights: Classic Meets Quirky with a Bold Color Palette
JAQUE paired the ornate, historic white ceiling with slate-gray walls to strike a balance between elegance and modernity. The contrast creates a moody, sophisticated atmosphere that feels both intimate and daring.
Timeless Shapes with a Twist
In the décor, JAQUE maintained the stately charm of the space by incorporating time-honored shapes and materials. However, she added quirky, conversation-starting elements—such as mannequin hands, feet, and other human forms—to give the space a playful edge that reflects the chef’s innovative menu.

Despite the restaurant’s small 42-seat scale, JAQUE infused the space with a grandeur that feels expansive. The dichotomy of the intimate size and bold design enhances its allure, making every visit an experience to remember.
