Located in a premium residential complex, The Luxe Retreat faced signifi cant design challenges due to its low ceilings and intricate layout. The goal was to create a spacious, open feel while adhering to the client’s preference for minimal color. To address the spatial challenges, JAQUE used reflective and metallic elements to visually reflect the space, enhancing its openness.
Rather than focusing on the long, linear layout of the room, the design incorporated serpentine shapes to create a dynamic visual effect. A custom chandelier, designed in a serpentine shape, complemented the curvaceous theme, visually expanding the space and adding depth to the room. This approach, combined with the use of wood and amber tones, brought warmth to the space, contrasting the cool metallic fi nishes and creating a balanced, inviting atmosphere.
Since the client favored minimal color, JAQUE turned to art to inject color into the design. Bold, carefully chosen artwork added vibrant accents, transforming the space into a gallery-like environment while maintaining the understated elegance that the client desired. The use of classic materials allowed the architecture and design to complement each other rather than compete, resulting in a harmonious blend of form and function.
The penthouse was designed not only for aesthetics but also for functionality. Every area was thoughtfully planned to meet the needs of a permanent residence within the busy city. The space is both comfortable and aesthetically attractive, making it an ideal home for the client who values both style and practicality.
BOTTOM LINE:
The Luxe Retreat is a prime example of how JAQUE can create unique, personalized interior designs that refl ect the client’s lifestyle. By blending classic materials, art, and serpentine shapes, JAQUE transformed a complex layout into a visually stunning and comfortable living space that is as functional as it is beautiful.
