The clients, who came from a traditional background, wanted to completely reimagine their new home through their own energetic and expressive lens. With a deep respect for the home’s original charm, the collaboration with JAQUE was effortless from the start.
The home office, once a traditional workspace, was transformed into a dynamic music lounge that showcases the owner’s guitar collection while also creating space for writing and recording. This spirit of personalization guided the design of every room in the home. The kitchen, now crisp and luminous with glass countertops and backsplashes, became the heart of the home—a welcoming hub for both entertaining guests and hosting kids and their friends. Metallic silver walls set a reflective canvas that allowed the home’s expressive color palette to shine without overwhelming the space.
The great room pulses with warm neutrals, daring accents, and striking artwork, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and inviting. The primary suite balances rock-n-roll edge with soft serenity, achieved through a careful mix of rich textures and moody fabrics that create a sense of both energy and calm. Upstairs, the “hotel for children” features private en-suites, a shared lounge, and study zones—all shaped by the kids themselves. This space perfectly captures the family’s personality, offering both privacy and communal areas where the children can truly thrive.
On the lower level, JAQUE designed a dynamic entertainment area that includes a movie theatre, recording studio, full kitchen, gym, and playroom—ready for late-night jams and early morning chaos. Outdoors, a custom metal pergola, hoisted into place by crane, frames a fully activated yard with awnings, courts, trampolines, and gathering spaces, ensuring that the exterior is just as vibrant and functional as the interior.
