Reimagining Space for Maximum Impact
JAQUE’s first bold move was to eliminate the apartment’s planned small terrace, expanding the great room to create a more spacious and versatile living area. This clever adjustment not only added square footage but also enhanced the apartment’s functionality, making it perfect for both family living and entertaining.
Material and Color Mastery
In the great room, JAQUE combined light marble with vertical grain wood, creating a striking contrast that exudes sophistication. To add warmth and ambiance:
- A Biofuel Fireplace: Adds a cozy touch while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.
- Wool Fabric Wall Panels: Infuse the space with texture and warmth.
- Signature Lighting Element: JAQUE designed a bold yet tasteful lighting feature to complete the room’s inviting atmosphere.
Skyline Views and a Second Social Space
Eliminating the terrace also allowed JAQUE to create a second social area, complete with a bar and seating where the family and guests can relax while enjoying breathtaking views of the Florida skyline.
Master Suite: Subtle Luxury and Functionality
JAQUE transformed the master suite into a serene and luxurious retreat, blending practicality with romance. Key design features include:
- Soft Textile Panels and Brass Accents: Adding layers of elegance and sophistication.
- Luxurious Wood Flooring: Enhancing the space with warmth and natural beauty.
- Mirrored Column: A functional and aesthetic element that separates the dressing area while reflecting light to create a sense of spaciousness.
- Enclosed Closets: Maintaining a crisp, clean look while maximizing storage.
Children’s Suite: A Multi-Functional Wonderland
JAQUE designed the children’s suite to inspire creativity, learning, and play:
- Playful Lighting: Highlights stacked bunk beds and a small illuminated “house,” sparking imagination and daydreaming.
- Functional Design: The space is ideal for both playtime and homework, balancing fun with practicality.
JAQUE’s thoughtful design ensures the children’s room meets the needs of both kids and parents, creating a joyful and functional environment.
